Target Fall Favorites: A Fall Haul

Super Chic Super Hero or Super Dull?

Target or TarJay as so many of us fans call it, has year after year attempted to keep up with the trends of the fashion world by teaming up with major designers such as Isaac Mizrahi, Zac Posen, Rodarte and a few others like Converse. This effort has allowed many up and coming fashionistas the ability to create their own unique style without breaking the bank.

During a random trip to a Dallas Target, l ran across some fab must have pieces that every aspiring fashionista can afford. Not all of the items shown below will spark everyone’s eye, but there is definitely something for everyone. Let me know what your favorite pieces are, if any and also how you feel about Target’s efforts to producing an affordable yet trendy line of clothing.
Seasonal Transition Pieces:
Sweating out the Summer has never looked so cute. Target’s adorable collection of wraps, sweater jackets, and light overcoats will allow you to be comfortable durning the change of seasons in a very stylish kind of way. The two wraps shown are perfect for leggings and skinny jeans. A strong salute goes out to those converse military jackets. The cotton is so soft but the cut on them is perfect. The navy one found it’s way into my own collection and came steps away from being used in a photo shoot! CUTE! House of Haute Approved™!

Simple Office Attire:
These Pieces can be mixed and matched along with things that you currently have in your closet. Just add a blazer, perhaps a trouser, a scarf, or your own skirt. There’s no limit to the combinations that can be obtained from mixing and matching.

Fun Casual Wear:
Get the skinny on the skinny! Skinny jeans are still in and are here to stay… for awhile anyway. These affordable stretchy jeans will definitely compliment your own look. The plaid shirts below aren’t your from your grandpa’s farm. They have creatively been married to the perfect sized ruffle down the middle. it gives it a chic twist to the plaid. I liked it so much, that I took one home with me!

We want your feedback! Does Target do it for you or are they over doing it? You can check more of their looks on their website at http://www.target.com

I love Target because they do have inexpensive trendy items. I don’t have a problem with them trying to keep up with the fashion industry at all. There are a lot of tweens who shop there for school, as well as mature fashionista’s on a budget.

I love Target and I always end up browsing the clothing section first before I go to any other part of the store. I actually bought the sweater in the first pic on the right in an olive color and it can be switched up to work with so many different outfits. Target is a great place to go when you’re looking for simple pieces to spice up what you already have in your closet and you can walk out with a few cute pieces for under $60 in most cases. LOVE the look you created with the plaid top Toni..looks super cute & the quality looks really good also.

Oh I agree agree agree, with you girls!! Yes the clearance rack can definitely be your best friend at times. My other favorite summer buy at “Tarjay” are their soft ribbed tanks! They are apart of my wardrobe at least 3-4 times a week in the summer! I’m so glad that you all liked the post. Stay close though, because there’s another store that I will be soon be doting all over! I can’t wait to reveal it!! YAY! Ok…I’m really excited. LOL
